Streszczenie
W artykule zostały omówione nowe środki karne, jakie przewiduje projekt nowelizacji kodeksu karnego z 18 maja 2007 r. Środkami tymi, w zakresie zwalczania przestępczości drogowej, są: opublikowanie wizerunku sprawcy oraz przepadek pojazdu mechanicznego prowadzonego przez sprawcę.

New penal measures for combating road offences (crimes) in the amendment to the Penal Code
Abstract
In the article, new penal measures are discussed that are foreseen in the planned amendment to the Penal Code of 18 May 2007. These measures, in the field of combating traffic offences (crimes), are: publishing a picture of the perpetrator and forfeiture of the motor vehicle driven by the perpetrator.

Artykuł stanowi próbę odpowiedzi na pytanie, kto zasługuje na status pokrzywdzonego w sytuacji, gdy w zdarzeniu drogowym udział bierze kilka osób. Autor omawia także trudności, jakie rodzą się na etapie sądowego rozpoznania sprawy, gdy pokrzywdzony nie został prawidłowo pouczony o uprawnieniach wynikających z art. 26 k.p.w.

On the definition of an injured party in the context of road accidents
Abstract
The article constitutes an attempt to reply to the question of who deserves the status of an injured party when several people are involved in a road incident. The author also discusses difficulties that arise at the stage of a court hearing of a case, if the injured party has not been correctly informed about rights resulting from Article 26 of the Petty Offences' Proceedings Code.

Nieudzielenie pomocy ofiarom wypadków drogowych - przestępstwo a wykroczenie

W artykule rozpatruje się problem nieudzielenia pomocy ofierze szeroko rozumianego wypadku drogowego, w aspekcie kwalifikacji tego czynu jako wykroczenia bądź przestępstwa. Analiza obejmuje ustawowe znamiona omawianych czynów oraz sytuację prawną sprawcy. Autorka wskazuje ponadto na pewne niekonsekwencje ustawodawcy, owocujące w niektórych przypadkach nieadekwatnością kary do popełnionego czynu oraz odmiennym traktowaniem zjawisk ze swej natury bliskich.

Failing to help victims of road accidents - crime or petty offence
Abstract
In the article the issue of failing to help a victim of a road accident - in the broadest sense of the term - is examined, from the point of view of whether to classify this act as a petty offence or as a crime. The analysis encompasses statutory hallmarks of the discussed acts and the legal situation of the perpetrator. Furthermore, the author indicates certain inconsistencies of the legislator, resulting, in certain cases, in inappropriateness of the punishment to the committed act and varying treatment of closely related phenomena

He presents a method of processing data and results of calculations and demonstrates the variability of the coefficient of stiffness k.
