Pojazd mechaniczny jako narzędzie przestępstwa z art. 178a § 1 k.k.
Streszczenie
Artykuł omawia budzący kontrowersje w orzecznictwie i literaturze problem, czy pojazd mechaniczny, którym kierował nietrzeźwy sprawca występku z art. 178a § 1 k.k., może i powinien być traktowany jako narzędzie przestępstwa, i w związku z tym, czy dopuszczalne jest orzeczenie przez sąd przepadku tego pojazdu. Zdaniem autora, możliwe jest tu orzeczenie przepadku pojazdu mechanicznego tytułem środka karnego na podstawie art. 44 § 2 k.k., przy czym autor podkreśla, że środek taki ma charakter fakultatywny i jego orzeczenie musi być poprzedzone dokonaniem oceny współmierności tego środka do wagi popełnionego przestępstwa.

A motor vehicle as an offence tool from Art. 178a § 1 Penal Code
Abstract
The article discusses an issue that arouses controversy in both the judicature and the literature - whether a motor vehicle driven by an intoxicated perpetrator of an offence under Art. 178a § 1 Penal Code can and should be treated as an offence tool, and - in connection with this - whether it is acceptable for a court impose forfeiture of such a vehicle. In the opinion of the author, ruling that a motor vehicle should be forfeited is possible by way of a penal measure under Art. 44 § 2 Penal Code; however, the author emphasizes that such a measure is optional and ruling on its use must be preceded by an assessment of whether this measure is commensurate with the severity of the committed offence.

Na kanwie wypadku, który miał miejsce w normalnym ruchu drogowym, a w którym uczestniczył oskarżony o jego spowodowanie kierowca rajdowy, kierujący samochodem przystosowanym do rajdów, autor precyzyjnie przedstawia przebieg całego postępowania karnego, od postępowania przygotowawczego aż po kasację, punktując problemy, jakie musiały rozstrzygać organa procesowe i wskazując na rolę biegłego w tym postępowaniu.

Use of a rally technique when performing an evasive manouevre on a public road
Abstract
A rally driver who was driving a car (adapted for rally driving) in normal road traffic, was accused of causing an accident. The author precisely presents the course of the whole penal proceedings, from preparatory proceedings up to annulment of the case, itemising issues and problems that the proceedings bodies had to settle, and indicating the role of the expert in these proceedings.

Efektywność hamowania wybranych modeli rowerów
Streszczenie
Przedmiotem opracowania, są parametry ruchu roweru hamującego na granicy przyczepności na kole tylnym oraz możliwość uzyskania maksymalnej siły hamowania na kole przednim bez poślizgu, tak aby nie doszło do ewentualnego upadku rowerzysty. W oparciu o przeprowadzone eksperymentalne badania procesu hamowania dwóch rodzajów rowerów: sportowego i górskiego określone zostały wartości średniego pełnego opóźnienia (MFDD) osiąganego na nawierzchni suchej i mokrej, przy hamowaniu kołem tylnym, kołem przednim i oboma kołami łącznie.

Effectiveness of braking of selected bicycle models
Abstract
The article focuses on parameters of movement of a bicycle braking at the limit of grip of the back wheel, and also the possibility of achieving maximum braking power on the front wheel without skidding, so that the cyclist does not fall. On the basis of experiments carried out into the process of braking of two types of bicycles - sports and mountain - values of mean fully developed deceleration (MFDD) have been determined, achieved on a dry and wet surface, braking using the rear wheel brake, front wheel brake and both wheel brakes together.

Przedmiotem artykułu jest środek karny w postaci zakazu prowadzenia pojazdów. Autorka, na tle przesłanek orzekania tego środka, przedstawia charakterystykę przestępstw i wykroczeń drogowych przewidujących możliwość wyeliminowania z ruchu drogowego na pewien czas kierowców, którzy mają skłonności do naruszania zasad ruchu drogowego, stwarzających poważne zagrożenie dla jego bezpieczeństwa.

Reasons for imposing a driving ban
Abstract
The subject matter of the article is the penal measure of a driving ban. Against the background of conditions for imposing this measure, the author presents the characteristics of road crimes and offences that carry with them the possibility of banning drivers for a certain period who have a tendency to infringe road traffic principles, creating a serious threat to safety of road traffic.
