DEVELOPMENT TRENDS IN FINGERPRINTING AND FORENSIC ANTHROPOLOG

Streszczenie
The Fingerprint & Forensic Anthropology Section of the Institute of Forensic Research undertakes activities connected with revealing and identifying fingerprints, and establishing the identity of persons based on analysis of their images and their remains. This paper shows the development trends in this science – as applied in this Section – over the last few years. The subjects of researches and master’s dissertations studied in this Section have been analysed, their main points summarised and the conclusions presented. Many of them are currently applied in expert practice in fingerprinting, image analysis, and forensic osteology and reconstructive anthropology.
