Streszczenie
Colour is one of the most important features of paint used in criminalistic examinations as a preliminary criterion of the similarity of analysed samples. Application of microspectrometry in the visible range ensures objective colour comparison. When it comes to pigment identification, infrared and Raman spectroscopy as well as X-ray microspectrometry are really helpful. The usefulness and complementarity of these methods in the identification and comparison of the pigment composition of paint samples were demonstrated on the basis of chosen examples.
