APPLICATION OF PYROLYSIS GAS CHROMATOGRAPHY TO ANALYSIS OF RUBBER SAMPLES

Streszczenie
The present work is a short review of the application of pyrolysis gas chromatography (Py-GC) to analysis of rubber samples. The authors describe the application of this method in quality assurance, structural analysis, quantitative analysis of mixtures of polymers as well as in identification and comparative analyses for criminalistic purposes. A variety of applied procedures which can be used for analysis of various polymers are presented. The mentioned examples demonstrate the dynamic development of the method both in terms of the applied equipment and interpretation of obtained results.
