Streszczenie
The application of Bayesian Network (BN) models to evaluation of the evidence value of refractive index values determined by the GRIM technique, measured before and after subjecting glass fragments to an annealing process, for the purpose of classification of glass fragments originating from containers, building and car windows, is presented in this paper. Optimal conditions of the annealing process (temperature program, annealing holder, oven) were selected, which allowed effective removing of tensions present in glass fragments. Bayesian Network models were satisfactorily applied in the classification of glass fragments in the situation where more than two glass categories were taken into account, i.e. car and building windows (making up the so-called “float glass” category) and containers.
