Streszczenie
In the current work, issues related to the criminalistic identification of traces of soles on the human body are presented. Two cases of positive group identification of shoe prints performed recently at the Institute of Forensic Research, Krakow are described. The performed examinations showed that a comparative analysis of shoe prints on human skin is possible and may be utilised in the reconstruction of the position of the offender in relation to the victim and, by the same token, in a partial reconstruction of the incident.
