Streszczenie
The level of natural variation, distribution reflecting this variation and natural covariation of the length of signature components were studied in large collections of full signatures. Material was obtained from 60 students at weekly intervals for a duration of 15 weeks. A low level of variation in the length of both components (fore name and surname) was found. The distribution of natural variants in the vast majority of cases was positively skewed. The length of the components was in al most all cases significantly positively related. The strength of this relation was in most cases moderate.
