EVIDENCE SECURED AND EXAMINATIONS ORDERED: AN ANALYSIS OF TWO CASES

Beata Maria TRZCIŃSKA

Streszczenie

The paper presents two cases in which unknown materials which turned out to be explosive materials were examined (among other kinds of evidence) – no body had suspected their presence at the starting point; it was only revealed in the course of the examination. The conclusion was drawn that more care should be taken both by police officers and experts when unknown materials are found on the crime scene or examined in forensic/toxicological laboratories.
