Streszczenie
An analytical procedure for examination of fountain pen and ballpoint pen inks was developed, using the PrinCe 550 capillary electrophoresis system with spectrophotometric detection. Samples were taken from ink lines in the form of paper microdots of 0.8mmdiameter. The ink sample was extracted from paper with pyridine-water solution (1:1). The detection was performed at wavelengths of 215, 375, 570 and 620 nm. Based on analysis of both the standard dye mixtures and real samples, it was revealed that under optimised conditions a reliable differentiation of inks can be carried out. The results presented show that forensic examination of documents with the CE method has good potential.
