LEGAL ASPECTS OF THE NATIONAL DNA DATABASE IN POLAND

Streszczenie
The paper deals with the legal aspects of obtaining biological samples from suspects and accused persons in Polish criminal proceedings as well as the legal possibilities of creating a national DNA database. Some necessary amendments to the Code of Criminal Procedures concerning the use of reasonable force when obtaining samples were proposed and the legal conditions of the creation of the DNA database were formulated.
