Streszczenie
Tests on drivers' blood carried out in the 1970s and 1980s by the Department of Forensic Medicine at the Silesian Medical Academy revealed the presence of different psychoactive substances. Tests carried out in the 1990s which took narcotics into consideration indicated an increase in the number of drivers under the influence of this class of drugs. Opiates and opiates with derivatives of barbiturate acid and 1.4-benzodiazepines were the substances most often observed. The methods used for the tests were TLC, FPIA and HPLC.
