Streszczenie
A comparative study of small glass fragments taken from the clothes of two suspected people as evidence as well as samples collected from a broken car side window as comparative material was performed. The study included the quantitative elemental analysis by means of a scanning electron microscope with an energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer as well as a statistical interpretation of the obtained results using cluster analysis. The sets of evidence and the comparative material revealed a similarity in the chemical contents and so, the conclusion was drawn that they might have been fragments from the same glass object.
