POPULATION STUDIES OF THE F13B LOCUS IN THE POPULATION SAMPLE FROM SOUTH-EAST POLAND

Population studies of the STR F13B system were carried out in a population sample of 201 unrelated individuals. Amplification results were compared after using separate primers according to Nishimura and Murray 1992, as well as the commercial kit GenePrintTM Str system-F13B by Promega. Six alleles were observed and the most common was allele 10 (0.448). We have also found the very rare allele 11 (0.005). Heterozygosity was calculated as 0.6766 and the power of discrimination 0.8569.
