Streszczenie
The contents of haemoglobin in blood samples were regulated by changing the proportions of the erythrocytal mass and the serum. By varying the duration of saturation with carbon monoxide we were able to obtain blood samples of different concentrations of carboxyhaemoglobin. Calibration was achieved by saturation of all the studied blood samples. It was found that neither the haemoglobin concentration, nor the level of saturation with carbon monoxide influenced the results of the determination of carboxyhaemoglobin with the modified head-space chromatography technique and the spectrophotometric method.
