Streszczenie
The following devices were used to determine CO in biological material: a FISONS 8160 gas chromatograph, an FID detector equipped with a nickel microcatalyst and J&W GS-Molesieve column, and also a HS-800 head-space autosampler. This method does not require the addition of any hydrogen admixture to the carrier gas, and is fast and simple. Calibration was successfully used to determine COHb - calibrators were created by saturating blood samples with carbon monoxide.
