THE EXAMINATION OF SURFACE IMPRESSIONS ON FINGERPRINT LIFTERS. A PRELIMINARY COMMUNICATION

Streszczenie
The fingerprint expert sometimes has to deal with a faked fingerprint lifter. In this paper a classification of surfaces (on which traces are impressed) was proposed. The results of some preliminary experiments with powder dusting of different surfaces were also presented. The implications for forensic practice will be discussed.
