Streszczenie
The method of carboxymyoglobin (COMb) determination in cardiac and femoral muscles by means of headspace capillary gas chromatography using an O-FID detector is presented. Material was obtained from four corpses. Three samples were collected from each muscle and analysed. Detectibility of several per cents of COMb, precision of not worse than SDr = 0.11 and good repeatability of results were achieved. The analytical procedure with simplified calibration proposed earlier [2] can also be used for routine COMb determinations in muscles.
