This history of the European Network of Forensic Science Institutes (ENFSI) gives a historical view of the organisation. It is built up in the following chapters which are representative for the various phases: The Idea, The Initiative, The First Meeting, The Preparative Stage, The Founding Meeting, Further Developments and Outside Relations. Finally, five appendices will give a concise overview of data, participants, themes of meetings, board members and so on.
