Streszczenie
This paper presents the results of research on the influence of chronic intoxication with selected alcohols (ethanol, methanol, and ethylene glycol) on certain oxidative stress parameters in rat lungs. From these results it may be concluded that chronic intake of alcohol produces an increase in the concentration of reactive oxygen forms (hydrogen peroxide) and lipid peroxidation products (TBA-reactive products), and also changes in the concentration of antioxidant system components (free SH-groups) in this organ.
