Streszczenie
Micro-Raman and micro-XRF spectroscopy combined in one apparatus (PRAXIS) were applied to the examination of test paint fragments and inks on paper in order to evaluate the usefulness of the instrument for criminalistic purposes. The results suggest that identification of at least the main pigments should be feasible by μ-Raman spectroscopy and the presence of identified pigments was confirmed by μ-XRF spectroscopy. So, the conclusion is that the PRAXIS apparatus could be successfully used in common casework.
