THE ROLE OF STATISTICAL METHODS IN ASSESSING THE EVIDENTIAL VALUE OF PHYSICO-CHEMICAL DATA

Streszczenie
The usefulness of statistical approaches, especially those related to the likelihood ratio, in evaluating glass fragments is presented in this paper. The glass fragments were analysed and characterised according to their elemental content as determined by the SEM-EDX method.
