Streszczenie
Pollen analysis has been increasingly used as a method for thedetermination of the place of origin of samples or time of year (season, month) of origin. This paper presents the results of a 9 month, continuous survey of the presence of pollen grains on faces of 4 subjects and in the air of the city of Kraków, and the usefulness of such data for determination of the date of origin of forensic samples. The obtained results show that in the case of low frequency of pollen grains in a sample, quantitative data on the occurrence of pollen grains are less useful for the determination of the date of origin of a sample than qualitative data.
