Streszczenie
This article is dedicated to the experimental development of an automated quantitative method for differentiating genuine and skilfully simulated short and simple signatures (initials) without conspicuous motor variations. 263 known freehand simulated signatures and 186 samples were processed. The method uses the Bayesian approach to assess the nature of overshoots in the questioned signatures compared to the samples. The decision rules for conclusions were determined, as were the reliability and efficiency of the method.
