Streszczenie
The article presents the results of research aimed at identifying two models of hunting bullet weapons, i.e., the Blazer R-93 Standard cal. .30-06 and CZ Brno 98 cal. .30-06 on the basis of traces left by the barrel wire on soft-point bullets. Both models of hunting weapons are very popular among Polish hunters. The caliber of the weapon was also not chosen by accident, because about 1/3 of Polish hunters use weapons of this caliber. The article discusses shooting range tests and laboratory tests. Cartridges with soft-point bullets from four leading manufacturers of hunting ammunition, popular in Poland, were used for the tests. As a result of the research it turned out that whenever it is possible to recover a projectile, in most cases they are suitable for identifying an individual weapon on the basis of traces left by the barrel. The article also presents the results of ballistic tests of individual missiles. The article contains charts, tables and photographs taken by the authors.
