ALEKSANDER GRZEGORZ GŁAZEK – THE CREATOR OF THE MODERN SYSTEM OF FORENSIC SCIENCES IN POLAND

He transformed the IFR into a modern institution, carrying out expert examinations and research in accordance
with international standards and defining directions of development of forensic sciences not only in Po land, but also in the world. He contributed greatly to the development of ENFSI, being the Chairman of the European Association of Forensic Sciences (EAFS) in 1998–2000, a member of the Committee of the European Association of Forensic Sciences (2001–2003), and then, from 2006 until his death, a member of the Board of the European Network of Forensic Science Institutes.
